Doug Pederson announced Friday that a decision has not yet been made on whether running back Jay Ajayi will play Sunday against the Denver Broncos. Ajayi’s game status will depend on how quickly he can pick up a handful of plays in the offense.
Since practicing with the team Wednesday, Ajayi has walked through a limited number of plays that could be called in varying game situations. The team is working on red zone plays in practice this afternoon.
“He’s done a nice job. He’s a smart guy. He comes from an offense that uses very similar terminology so he’s familiar with that.
