PITTSBURGH – The Eagles’ offense didn’t make many splashy plays during Thursday night’s 17-0 win over Pittsburgh, but perhaps the biggest highlight came from undrafted rookie Paul Turner, who hauled in a 23-yard, one-handed catch, drawing oohs and aahs from the Heinz Field crowd.
“It was basically a fade to the sideline,” Turner said after the game. “Chase (Daniel) made a great throw and I just looked the ball in and caught it.
“I really wasn’t thinking at the time. It kind of just happened. I couldn’t get my other arm up and I just knew that if I could get one hand on it then I could possibly come down with it.
