Paul Domowitch's Eagles-Lions report card

The Eagles averaged 2.7 yards per carry against a defense that came in allowing 4.1. It didn’t help that they lost Jason Peters on their first possession, but this was just a poor performance. They had just four rushing first downs and DeMarco Murray finished with 30 yards on 14 carries. He had one carry that gained more than four yards and eight that gained one or less.

PASSING OFFENSE

Mark Sanchez didn’t throw an interception, but he was sacked six times and lost a fumble. The lopsided score allowed the Lions’ defense to tee off on Sanchez.
