While a lot of Philadelphia Eagles fans aren't feeling particularly great about their team, there might be solace in knowing that they are not entirely out of it for the number one seed in the NFC.
The Eagles are coming off a bad 24-15 loss to the Chicago Bears on Black Friday that dropped them to 8-4 on the season. At least the loss didn't hurt Philly in the NFC East race, as they are still two games ahead of the Dallas Cowboys despite their Thanksgiving Day win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Philadelphia got some good news as the Carolina Panthers pulled off a massive upset over the Los Angeles Rams, 31-28, dropping the Rams to 9-3 on the season.
