Panthers request permission to interview Eagles front office member

The Carolina Panthers are requesting to interview Philadelphia Eagles assistant director of player personnel Ian Cunningham for their assistant general manager position, according to a report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport.

This is hardly the first time the Panthers have shown interest in poaching a member of Philly’s front office. Carolina hired former Eagles national scout Pat Stewart last year to be their director of player personnel.

The Panthers previously hired former Eagles analyst Taylor Rajack in 2019 to be Carolina’s director of football analytics. The Panthers also requested a general manager interview with former Eagles vice president football operations Andrew Berry, who ended up being hired by the Cleveland Browns instead.
