With 32 franchises, there’s always something to talk about, and on the same day the Philadelphia Eagles lost their defensive backs coach to the Detroit Lions, the Carolina Panthers requested permission to interview Philly’s vice president of football operations Andrew Berry for their executive VP job.
That was confirmed by multiple sources, including those that reported the news to ESPN’s Adam Schefter before Ian Rapoport reported that sources informed him that Philly denied them that opportunity about an hour later.
