No gloating Eagles fans if you're with any Browns, Rams fans

In the wake of two impressive starts by Carson Wentz, it’s natural to assume that the Browns and Rams look east and gnash their teeth.

That might be true of their exasperated fan bases, but not necessarily true of their front offices. It's just too soon to say.

The Rams traded up in order to draft Jared Goff first overall, just ahead of Wentz. The Browns, the newest converts to the cult of analytics, traded that No. 2 overall pick to the Eagles because they believed Robert Griffin III or Josh McCown could either fill in for two seasons until they acquired and developed another quarterback, or that RGIII would resuscitate his career.
