If there is one thing that Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has been a master at, it's finding the best deal possible to get the job done.
The Eagles made a trade with the Miami Dolphins to acquire edge rusher Jaelan Phillips in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick. It's a win-win as Miami gets a draft pick and Philly lands the edge rusher who can make them Super Bowl contenders.
NFL reporter Albert Breer added another caveat that will make this deal an even better one for the Eagles. Breer added that to make the trade happen, the Dolphins agreed to pay the majority of Phillips' salary in 2025 for the Eagles to give them the higher pick.
