Two down. Two to go. It’s Week three of the NFL preseason, and after a nice bounceback win in Duval County, the Philadelphia Eagles return home to Lincoln Financial Field to get another extended look at rookie quarterback Clayton Thorson, newly acquired signal-caller Josh McCown, and quite a few reserves who are all vying for a spot on Philly’s final 53-man roster.
This was scheduled to be the dress rehearsal, and though Jason Peters and Jason Kelce have both expressed interest in playing, much like the first two games, no one expects to see the starters in this one as head coach Doug Pederson‘s been really intentional about keeping his guys healthy for the regular season.
