NFL insider confirms Eagles' trade deadline activity in final critical days

There are some Philadelphia Eagles fans who are sweating a bit entering the final days before the trade deadline to see what the team is going to do.

So far this past week, Eagles general manager Howie Roseman struck a deal with the New York Jets to get cornerback Michael Carter II, which filled one roster void on the team. The Athletic's Dianna Russini reports that Roseman isn't done yet, as there were additional conversations with the Jets beyond Carter.

"The Eagles need an edge rusher and asked the Jets about Jermaine Johnson.
