NFL Changes PAT, 2-Point Conversion Rules

The extra point rule for 2015 just changed. Snap for kick from the 15-yard line, 2-pt try stays at 2-yard line and defense can return.

A few other esoteric rule clarifications: First, the scoring team may change their PAT/two-point decision if a penalty occurs. Second, a "touchdown" scored by the kicking team results in two points.

Initially, the Eagles proposed for PATs to be moved from the 2-yard line to the 15-yard line and for two-point conversion attempts to be moved from the 2-yard line to the 1-yard line.
