The Philadelphia Eagles kicked off their preseason action with a matchup against the New York Jets this past Friday. Although the team would come up short in the end, the starters put on a show giving much confidence in the squad on both sides of the ball.
Philadelphia’s offense was smooth, their defense dominant, but most importantly, Jalen Hurts was a perfect 6/6 on passing attempts with a touchdown and a perfect passer rating of 158.3. Based on how far the Eagles went last season, plus the additions that were made, it was clear that the team would be much improved as long as Hurts continued to develop.
