Let's close this season out on a positive note. In the midst of a five-game losing streak and a 2-9 run since the 3-0 start, the Eagles have stayed remarkably upbeat and have been more than competitive in most of those games, including close-but-not-enough heartbreakers against Washington and Baltimore.
That's got to count for something in the long run, doesn't it?
"It's frustrating and I hope we can find a way to win one or two of these games before the season ends," safety Malcolm Jenkins said on Sunday after the 27-26 loss in Baltimore.
