It's not very often you hear a defensive lineman come to praise a quarterback much less Ndamukong Suh, but on Kay Adams' "Up & Adams show", came to the defense of his 2022 teammate.
Suh mentioned that Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts may have been slighted on his NFL Top 100 ranking. Adams asked Suh to share his opinion on past quarterbacks who are currently in the NFL, gathering the defensive linemen's opinions on quarterbacks Jared Goff, Matthew Stafford, and Hurts.
Suh's argument for Hurts and whether he's right or wrong
"I think Jalen should be a little bit higher, there's something that I don't think a lot of people understand his success and I know they give him a lot grief for being more of a running quarterback, and not having the stats from a passing perspective, but you also have to be very, very keen on they're (Eagles) sometimes blowing teams out, and you forget who his running mate is in Saquon, like why would not run the ball, and run the clock out and get the game over, and go home to get healthy, and get ready for the next game.
