A former Philadelphia Eagles running back's 2025 campaign is over as Miles Sanders is opting for surgery on his knee and ankle.
According to Dallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones, Sanders will miss the rest of the season, having undergone a similar surgery to Trevon Diggs in January.
Tough break for the former Eagles running back
Sanders spent the first four years of his career in Philadelphia after being drafted in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Sanders' best season of his career came in 2022, when he rushed for over 1,000 yards and eleven touchdowns while earning Pro Bowl honors.
