With a whole week to prepare for a game, fans would think the Philadelphia Eagles would have been ready for the Dallas Cowboys, but that appeared not to be the case with a 21-point blowout and a 24-21 loss to show for it from the Birds.
The Eagles struggled on the ground with just 63 yards and averaged 3.5 yards per carry. Eagles offensive guard Landon Dickerson was asked after the game about the struggles on the ground and said the Cowboys changed things up on defense.
"They gave us a defense that they rarely run and we just didn't execute the game plan we had.
