Kyle McCord learns his expected fate with Eagles and his obvious next path

The moment has arrived for Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Kyle McCord as he learns his fate on the roster.

Sources tell NFL insider Jordan Schultz that the Eagles have released McCord. Philly selected him in the sixth-round of the 2025 NFL Draft to compete with the third string quarterback job.

McCord struggled in preseason as he battled with Dorian Thompson-Robinson for the QB3 job, but Thompson-Robinson also met his fate, being released.
