These two players battled on the practice field as teammates at South Carolina. Both are good friends. They were roommates in college and Jeffery served as a groomsman in Gilmore's wedding.
Jeffery and Gilmore left the teams that drafted them last offseason to sign with new squads hoping to earn a Super Bowl ring.
One player will fulfill that dream come Sunday.
The 6-3, 218-pound Jeffery had six touchdowns in the final two months of the regular season and has carried that success into the playoffs with nine catches for 146 yards and two more scores.
