Josh Adams reportedly had offseason labrum surgery

One player who won’t be participating in the Eagles’ offseason workout program is running back Josh Adams, according to a report from BGN alumnus Mike Kaye of NJ.com.

Following his rookie season, Adams reportedly underwent labrum surgery following the loss to New Orleans in January, and is expected to be sidelined for about six months. Adams is now the second running back recovering this offseason, with Corey Clement coming off a season-ending knee injury.

Adams showed some flashes and actually led the Eagles in rushing after being promoted from the practice squad in Week 2, ultimately getting five starts by the end of the year.
