Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jordan Davis is having a season to remember, but it just got even better with the latest announcement from the NFL.
Davis was named the NFC's Defensive Player of the Week for Week 11 after he helped the Eagles beat the Detroit Lions 16-9 in their last game. He finished the game with one tackle and three pass deflections in the victory.
That announcement just helped Davis make a little franchise history that not even Brandon Graham can say he ever did for the team. Davis is the first player in Eagles history to be named Defensive and Special Teams Player of the Week in one season after winning Special Teams Player of the Week back in Week 3 against the Los Angeles Rams, as he came up with a key field goal block and returned it for a touchdown to seal the win.
