The Eagles rookies are now in the practice phase of training camp, and second-round draft pick, QB Jalen Hurts, spoke to the media on Tuesday about his role, teammates and virtual offseason.
He noted that the biggest thing for him was just getting to the facility and seeing the mentality of the coaches and staff as they prepare for the season, and the approach for the team as a whole.
Hurts wouldn’t address his specific role in the offense, but emphasized that he’s “trying to improve everyday” and he’s played quarterback his whole life and he in Philly to grow at that position.
