It's becoming clear to everyone on the outside that, despite there not being a verbal commitment to Tyler Steen being the new starting right guard of the Philadelphia Eagles, he appears to have the job.
All training camp and offseason workouts, Steen has taken all the first team reps at right guard as the Eagles are looking to replace Mekhi Becton, who departed in free agency for the Los Angeles Chargers during the offseason.
It seems that his teammates are also aware of how good he's going to be. Eagles defensive lineman Jalen Carter paid him high compliments by calling him a "hell of a player.
