There was a slight change made to the special teams this week that has caught more attention than many Philadelphia Eagles fans would have expected.
It was good news on the injury front as long snapper Charley Hughlett had his 21-day practice window opened after being on IR for his abdominal injury. That resulted in the Eagles releasing his replacement, Cal Adomitis.
With kicker Jake Elliott's recent struggles with three straight games of a missed field goal, people started putting two and two together with Adomitis getting blamed for the misses and losing, while Hughlett snapping had the Eagles 4-0 on the season, and Elliott hitting all four of his field goals.
