Jake Elliott is NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 12, according to an official announcement from the NFL.
It wasn’t hard to see this award coming.
The Philadelphia Eagles kicker made an incredibly clutch 59-yard field goal through wind and rain in order to give the Birds a chance to beat the Buffalo Bills in overtime.
Elliott also made all four of his extra point kicks to account for seven of the Eagles’ 37 points in a three-point win.
After previously taking home NFC STPOTW in Week 1 and Week 4, Elliott has now won this award three times in 2023 and six times in his career.
