Eagles fans will have to wait a bit longer to see their newest acquisition take the field, finally.
Per the team and NFL insider Adam Schefter, Jaire Alexander is ruled out for Monday night's game against the Packers. Schefter reports that the team believes Alexander is still acclimating to Vic Fangio's defensive scheme, while still recovering from a knee injury.
Alexander was not listed on the Eagles' injury report this week and was reported to be taking first-team reps across from CB1 Quinyon Mitchell. With both the knee injury and limited time to prepare, the Eagles are taking precautionary measures to get him ready for the rest of the season.
