Instant analysis: Eagles sign former Falcons guard to active roster

The Eagles announced on Tuesday afternoon that they have guard Jamon Brown from the Bears’ practice squad.

The 27-year-old was a third-round pick back in 2015 and has since spent time with the Rams, Giants, and Falcons, before ending up on the Bears’ practice squad.

Brown joined Atlanta in 2019 after spending seven weeks as a starter for the New York Giants. That would be a trend that followed suit when Chris Lindstrom suffered an injury in week one. Brown then started nine games at right guard for the Falcons. He amassed a PFF grade of 53.
