Inside the Fence Shuffling of players continues

The Eagles continued to shuffle players in and out at various "open" spots, but the right guard position has probably had the most rotation.

Julian Vandervelde was the first-team right guard on Saturday. Matt Tobin (two practices), Andrew Gardner (two), and John Moffitt (one) had split time there during the first five practices.

Chris Maragos was at first-team safety for the third straight day. The same went for Eric Rowe at cornerback. Safety Walter Thurmond and cornerback Nolan Carroll are likely to win those spots, but they toiled with the second-team defense again.

Brad Jones was back at inside linebacker.
