The toughest blow for the Eagles is the loss of Jon Dorenbos, who will be placed on Injured Reserve after undergoing wrist surgery on Sunday evening. Dorenbos, who injured his wrist on a punt play, had just tied Harold Carmichael for the most consecutive games played in Eagles history at 162.
The Eagles also suffered another injury on the offense line, as reserve lineman Matt Tobin suffered an MCL sprain. Fellow lineman Halapoulivaati Vaitai has been recovering well, according to Pederson, so there’s a chance he could still play again this season.
