Heading into the lead-up to the Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings' Week 7 showdown, there was a ton of talk about general manager Howie Roseman letting cornerback Isaiah Rodgers sign with the Vikings in the offseason.
It started with the poor play of Adoree' Jackson and Kelee Ringo throughout the season at cornerback for the Eagles. Before the game, there was a report that came out that the Eagles were going to make an offer to Rodgers, but could not reach him. Rodgers made it clear on social media that the report was false.
Even though Rodgers did not want to call this game a "revenge game" due to his love for the team, there was still a sense that he wanted to play well against his old team.
