Greg Ward Jr. is now officially under contract for the 2021 NFL season. The Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver signed his exclusive-rights free agent tender on Monday afternoon.
The Eagles originally tendered Ward earlier this month. This left him with two options:
1) Sign the one-year tender worth $850,000.
or
2) Stop playing in the NFL.
Pretty obvious choice for the 25-year-old, who is currently the oldest wide receiver under contract for 2021. The only other players at Ward’s position include Travis Fulgham, Jalen Reagor, Quez Watkins, John Hightower, J.
