In a few months, it will mark two years since former Philadelphia Eagles safety Chris Maragos took the football field. Back in 2017, Maragos was the ferocious leader of the Eagles special teams. Although he played a minimal role, he was still considered to be one of the most respected leaders within the Philadelphia locker room. Unfortunately, the team lost him prematurely.
We all remember 2017 like it was yesterday. The year the Philadelphia Eagles managed to win their first Super Bowl in franchise history. While we tend to remember the good times, and only picture Nick Foles hoisting the Lombardi trophy in our heads, we tend to forget the struggles of that season from time to time beyond Carson Wentz’s torn ACL.
