Former Eagles cornerback sentenced to two years probation, could face further punishment

Former Eagles cornerback Daryl Worley has pleaded guilty to three charges stemming from an April arrest in his hometown of Philadelphia, according to court documents (hat tip to Vic Tafur). The guilty charges include: driving under the influence, carrying firearms in public, and resisting arrest.

Worley’s arrest occurred back on April 15. The Eagles released him a mere eight hours after news of his arrest was made public. Worley unsurprisingly passed through waivers unclaimed but ultimately ended up receiving an offer to play for Jon Gruden’s Oakland Raiders.
