Former Alabama defender reportedly being waived from Eagles after three seasons

Another player has learned his fate with the Philadelphia Eagles as he is no longer on the roster.

The Philadelphia inquirer's Jeff McLane shared that sources have told him that former undrafted free agent cornerback Eli Ricks has been waived from the team. Ricks was entering his third season with the Eagles after previously not being drafted by them out of Alabama.

#Eagles are waiving CB Eli Ricks, NFL sources said.

Ricks, formerly undrafted, played in 23 games for the Birds in his first two seasons. Numbers game gets him this time around, although a return to the practice squad is possible.
