IT SEEMS there is a method to Chip Kelly's madness.
Eagles fans gave Kelly holy hell when he signed Tim Tebow last month. Why add another subpar quarterback when you've already got Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley and G.J. Kinne.
Because of the "Tebow Rule," that's why.
Actually, no such rule exists. Yet.
But that's what it will likely be known as if a proposal by the Eagles concerning the two-point conversion is accepted.
Next week, the NFL owners will meet and mull over three proposals for changing the way extra points and conversions are handled.
