Fletcher Cox reported to mandatory minicamp. The next big date on the calendar is the beginning of training camp.
“I’m expecting to be at training camp, yes,” the defensive lineman said Wednesday in his first public comments of the offseason.
Cox would not address his absence – “I’m here today. That’s all that matters,” he said – and said his limited participation in minicamp was coach Doug Pederson’s decision.
“It was Coach’s decision because I’ve been away … and everyone else had eight weeks of football,” Cox said. “It was a smart move by the coaching staff.
