Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Eagles brought in free agent LB Dannell Ellerbe for a workout on Monday.
The Eagles just lost LB Jordan Hicks for the season last week due to an Achilles injury, so it makes sense that they would be kicking the tires on some available options.
This is actually the first reported interest in Ellerbe since he became available a month ago.
Ellerbe, 31, originally signed on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2009.
