The Philadelphia Eagles will be seeing a familiar face under center when they take on the Redskins at Lincoln Financial Field in Week 1 this season. Washington head coach Jay Gruden officially confirmed that Case Keenum will be the team’s starting quarterback to open the 2019 campaign. Keenum beat out rookie first-round pick Dwayne Haskins and still-recovering veteran Colt McCoy.
You just might remember that Keenum’s last trip to the Linc didn’t go so well for him. Starting for the Vikings in the 2018 NFC Championship Game, Keenum led Minnesota to a measly seven points while the Eagles scored 38.
