The Eagles announced that they have waived wide receiver Khalil Tate on Monday evening, just one day before he was set to report to Training Camp.
Tate was an interesting prospect coming out of college. At 6-foot-1, 213 pounds, he was a quarterback predominantly known for his running ability. In fact, he was of the fastest QB’s college football has ever seen. in 2018, he recorded 170 completions on 302 attempts for 2,503 yards, 26 touchdowns, and just 8 interceptions. His rushing ability was outstanding too with 153 attempts for 1,411 yards and 12 touchdowns.
