It’s officially time for the Philadelphia Eagles to panic. As they approach their Week 3 matchup against the New York Jets, they are facing an insurmountable deficit in the standings. In the past 25 years, only three teams have made the playoffs after starting the season with an 0-3 record. Only two other teams before 1990 made the playoffs after starting 0-3, and one was a Tampa Bay Buccaneers squad in the strike-shortened 1982 season.
In order to right the ship, the Eagles are going to need to take on a Jets team that has a lot of things working for them currently.
