The Philadelphia Eagles (4-1) are still atop the NFC East, holding a game lead over Washington despite putting up the third-fewest yards per game and fourth-lowest yards per play in the NFL. It’s almost unfathomable to believe that an offense with a Super Bowl MVP in Jalen Hurts, a 2,000-yard rusher in Saquon Barkley and one of the best wide receiver duos in the league in A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith sit at near the bottom in such stats.
However, that is how the 2025 season has gone thus far for Philadelphia.
