Hope you enjoyed listening to Chris Myers and Daryl Johnston calling last week’s Eagles game, because they’ll back calling the Birds this afternoon.
For the first time since 2014, the same FOX crew will be calling the Eagles game in back-to-back weeks. That year, it was Joe Buck and Troy Aikman that drew double Birds duty, calling the Eagles in Week 3 and Week 4.
Meyers and Johnston (along with sideline reporter Laura Okmin) are back in the booth calling the Eagles again due to the league’s “cross-flex” rules. Last week’s game would’ve normally appeared on CBS, but the NFL’s television contract allows the league to move some AFC away games (the game took place in Philadelphia) to FOX.
