One could only imagine what it must be like to watch something you created turn into a billion-dollar franchise. For the late Stan Lee, that’s exactly what happened with Marvel Comics. He’s responsible or partially responsible for some of the most popular fictional characters that have ever been created in our culture, and those characters have entertained an inspired many, including former Philadelphia Eagles safety Brian Dawkins.
For many, Dawkins is their Eagle of all time, and it was his professionalism and tenure that made that a true statement. It would be his alter ego, ‘The Wolverine’ (or ‘Weapon X as he was also know), that would make him a legend.
