The Philadelphia Eagles move to an impressive 4-0 following a 31-23 win over the Buccaneers. It wasn’t pretty, but with Flyers hockey on the horizon, it was certainly gritty.
First quarter breakout
The game started off in explosive fashion. Instead of waiting for the offense to make a statement, it was the defense and special teams units that once again stepped up big.
A solid effort from the secondary helped bring Baker and co. to a standstill on the opening drive, but a special teams effort on the following punt sent the Eagles careering into a 7-point lead.
