Eagles subtract to crowded WR room to add much-needed depth at linebacker

While the Eagles have not been one of the more active teams on the waiver wire this preseason, the team has made a couple of key trades in an effort to defend their 2024 Super Bowl title.

After the addition of wide receiver John Metchie III, the Eagles opted to release Giles Jackson and add some depth at linebacker. The Eagles announced they have signed Chance Campbell, who reunites with his former linebacker coach, as a starter, Nakobe Dean is currently dealing with a torn patellar tendon.

Campbell adds depth to the linebacker room, which is trying to stay healthy during the final part of the preseason.
