Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman is always staying busy to make the roster better, but his best trade of the season might have helped the team from completely collapsing during the regular season.
A midseason trade for edge rusher Jaelan Phillips changed how the defense played in Philly, as they instantly went from one of the worst pass-rushing defensive units to one of the best. Phillips posted 41 pressures, 32 hurries, seven quarterback hits, and two sacks in eight regular season games with the Eagles.
One day after a highly disappointing 23-19 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Wild Card game, Phillips was asked about his future with the Eagles.
