In addition to signing free agent defensive back Obi Melifonwu, the Philadelphia Eagles also inked free agent wide receiver Andre Patton on Thursday evening.
The Eagles likely signed Patton because they’re looking a little thin at wide receiver in training camp right now. Jalen Reagor has been limited due to “lower body tightness” after reportedly failing his physical. Greg Ward is also limited while Quez Watkins and Travis Fulgham have been described as day-to-day. That leaves Philly with just DeVonta Smith, John Hightower, J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, John Hightower, Jhamon Aubson, and Michael Walker as the only full participants.
