The last time the Philadelphia Eagles played on Thanksgiving was surely a game to forget. Eagles fans from all over were sitting in front of their televisions for the first game of the day, just to see the real start to the end of the Chip Kelly era. Mark Sanchez was under center, and Chip Kelly was officially beginning to realize that his college playcalling in the NFL was nothing more than a gimmick.
The Eagles ended up taking a terrible loss to the Detroit Lions, who defeated them 45-14.
