Eagles reportedly give Duce Staley a new job title

Duce Staley didn’t get the Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator job, but he did earn a new title.

ESPN’s Josina Anderson reports “assistant head coach” is being added to Staley’s job title. So he’s the Eagles’ assistant head coach/running backs coach now.

There was some hand-wringing over the fact the Eagles promoted Mike Groh, who only joined Philadelphia last offseason, instead of Staley, who has been with the Eagles since 2011, to the offensive coordinator job.

But now Staley is getting recognized for his hard work as well. That’s good to see.
