According to Phil Sheridan of ESPN, the Philadelphia Eagles have waived running back Matthew Tucker with a non-football injury.
Tucker was with the team the past two seasons, but played mainly on the practice squad.
Sheridan writes:
'Tucker’s release may explain an Instagram post last week by Kevin Monangai, a running back from Villanova University. The 5-foot-8, 205-pound Monangai posted that he was signing with the Eagles. At the time, the Eagles’ roster was set at 90, the maximum number of players allowed when training camp opens.'
