Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz will have a full, healthy offseason to prepare for the 2019 season. Not only that, but he’s got a lot of new offensive weapons — DeSean Jackson, Jordan Howard, JJ Arcega-Whiteside — in addition to many familiar and successful faces.
Wentz threw 16 touchdowns his rookie season in 2016, followed by a much-more-impressive 33 passing TD sophomore campaign. During that 2017 season, the quarterback only suited up for 13 games before going down with a knee injury, so he likely would have finished somewhere near 40 touchdowns should he have been able to complete the full 16-game season.
